“Since 2020, we haven’t received any new referrals or information regarding the child’s safety until August 2025. Out of concern for his well-being, we reached out to An Garda Síochána,” the agency reported. This revelation has propelled a renewed investigation into the boy’s disappearance, focusing on the potential circumstances surrounding it.
Commissioner Kelly conveyed a somber assessment, expressing the grim belief that the boy is likely deceased. “Tragically, our investigating gardai believe the boy is deceased,” he stated during a press conference. UPDATE AT 14:00: In a significant development, gardai have secured an area of open land in Donabate, which will be thoroughly searched in the coming days. Temporary structures have been set up, and the site is now fenced off.
