AirHop trampoline park in Aberdeen has undergone a significant transformation, unveiling a series of thrilling new attractions that are set to captivate visitors of all ages. Located on Craigshaw Road, this revamped park now features Scotland’s first air slides, a daring addition that promises to elevate the excitement for thrill-seekers.
Introducing Scotland’s first air slides
The highlight of the newly revamped AirHop is undoubtedly the two air slides, designed for those who crave an adrenaline rush. The pink slide reaches an impressive height of over 20 feet, while the blue slide stands at 18 feet.
What makes these slides particularly exhilarating is the element of surprise; riders cannot see the slide from the top, adding to the thrill of the descent. During a recent relaunch event, several children showcased their bravery by taking on the slides, landing safely on the airbag below, much to the delight of onlookers.
More than just trampolines
In addition to the air slides, AirHop has introduced the Airena, a five-a-side football pitch that offers a unique bouncing experience. This innovative feature allows players to enjoy a game of football while experiencing the fun of trampolining. Daniel Pacitti, the cluster manager for Scotland, expressed his excitement about the new attractions, stating, “We’ve just got some really cool new attractions, like the air slides, which are the first of their kind in Scotland.” He emphasized the importance of providing engaging activities for families, especially in a time when children are often glued to screens.
Encouraging active play for children
Parents are thrilled with the new offerings at AirHop. Janie Hopper, a mother who attended the relaunch with her children, remarked, “It’s great to see something like this in Aberdeen. Kids won’t even realize how much exercise they’ve done because they are having so much fun bouncing around.” The park also features various skills-based activities, such as basketball and balloon pop, which not only entertain but also help children develop important skills.
As the new park opens its doors to the public, it is clear that AirHop is committed to providing a fun and active environment for families. With a range of activities designed to engage children and encourage physical activity, AirHop is poised to become a favorite destination for families in Aberdeen.
