On the second day of her visit, April 9, Princess Anne will continue her engagements at the Boyndie Visitor Centre in Banff, where she will interact with local residents and learn about the centre’s initiatives. She will also visit the Cullen, Deskford and Portknockie Heritage Group, showcasing her interest in preserving local history and culture.

Other notable stops include the Aden Country Park in Peterhead and the Macbi community hub in Mintlaw, where she will engage with community members and discuss ongoing projects. Her final visit will be to Gray Composting Services, a firm focused on food waste collection and organic recycling, emphasizing her commitment to environmental sustainability.

A legacy of service and equestrian passion

Princess Anne’s love for horses is well-known; she was the European eventing champion in 1971 and represented Great Britain at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. Her role as a patron of various equestrian charities further cements her dedication to promoting equestrian sports and animal welfare. This visit not only highlights her royal duties but also her personal interests, making her engagements meaningful and impactful.

As the Princess Royal prepares for her journey to Aberdeenshire and Moray, local communities eagerly anticipate her arrival. Her visits are a testament to her commitment to public service and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. The upcoming engagements promise to be both enlightening and inspiring for all involved.
