Authorities are actively searching for Tom Kane, a 56-year-old man reported missing from his home in Greenock. The last confirmed sighting of Mr. Kane was around AM on Thursday in the Eldon Street area of Greenock. Concern is mounting as family and friends have not heard from him, which is highly unusual for him.
Details of the disappearance
Mr. Kane is believed to have traveled to the Fort William area in a silver Volvo XC60, with the registration number GW15 TRY. He is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, of slim build, and has short dark hair.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, a polo shirt, and a black North Face jacket.

Inspector Ross Wilson from Greenock Police Station has expressed growing concern for Mr. Kane’s welfare. He stated, “It is out of character for Tom to be out of contact with his family and friends, and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.” The police are conducting extensive inquiries and are urging anyone who may have seen Tom, his vehicle, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.
