Celebrating creativity at UHI Moray
Witnessing the evolution of an artist before they achieve widespread recognition is a thrilling experience. This year, the UHI Moray School of Art invites the public to explore the creativity of its Fine Art students during the annual Fine Art Degree Show, taking place from June 9 to June 14.
This exhibition serves as a platform for fourth-year students to showcase their artistic talents, reflecting years of dedication and hard work.
A diverse range of artistic expressions
The Fine Art Degree Show features a rich variety of works, including oil paintings, drawings, sculptures, and installations.
Madeline Mackay, the Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Fine Art, expressed pride in the exhibition, stating, “We are proud to present Degree Show 2025 at Moray School of Art, celebrating the culmination of four years or more of dedication, hard work, and learning from our graduating students here at MSA.” This year’s exhibition promises to challenge viewers to think differently and engage with art on a deeper level.
Meet the talented graduates
The exhibition will showcase the works of seven talented students: Daye Allan, Jessie Dundas, Haddie Farquhar, Janice McCormack, Donald Ross, Annie Scott, and Krzysztof Zajaczkowski. Cat Meighan, the Curriculum Team Leader at Moray School of Art, highlighted the resilience and determination of this year’s graduating cohort. She noted, “I feel privileged to have worked with them and seen each individual develop their visual language and creative voice.” This development not only boosts their confidence but also prepares them for their future careers as artists.

The Fine Art Degree Show will kick off with an Opening Reception on Friday, June 6, from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Moray School of Art, UHI Moray. Following the reception, the exhibition will be open to the public on the following dates and times:
