After discussing the idea with their minister, Graham Finch, a committee was formed, and in 1993, the Far & Wide charity shop opened its doors in Stonehaven. Despite skepticism about its longevity, the shop quickly became a community staple, proving that the demand for charitable contributions was far from fleeting.
