Go for a walk and find a suitable tree branch which has at least two or three small branches coming out of it to form a triangular shape.Tie the string or wool onto the branch and wrap it around the other branches to form the basis of the weave.

This is the framework for the other items to be weaved into.Collect lots of natural materials to form an interesting weave.
The beach, the woods or fields are all great places to go out collecting these items and each location will give the weaving a different feel and style. Natural materials can also be used like hessian, wools and raffia.
When it is finished, the weaving looks great hanging from a wall or hung securely from the ceiling.
