Is society actually progressing or just pretending?

Are we really progressing or just stuck in a loop of illusions? Let's find out.

The illusion of progress: are we really moving forward?
Let’s tell the truth: the notion that we are improving in every aspect of life is a myth that deserves to be dismantled. We are surrounded by advanced technologies and the promise of a better future, but at what cost?

Uncomfortable facts and statistics

According to recent data, the global poverty rate has decreased only marginally over the past two decades, despite contrary claims. Additionally, the number of people suffering from mental health issues has dramatically increased, with a 25% rise compared to a decade ago.

The reality is less politically correct than we are led to believe.

Contrarian analysis of the situation

I know it’s not popular to say, but technological progress does not automatically equate to social progress. While we enjoy the benefits of social networks and apps, we are also witnessing a rise in isolation and misinformation. The emperor has no clothes, and I’m telling you: our digital connection does not translate into real human connections.

Disturbing yet thought-provoking observation

We must ask ourselves: are we really better off than we were 50 years ago? If we look beyond appearances, the answer may be an unsettling no. It is time for us to begin questioning our beliefs about progress.

Invitation to critical thinking

So, I invite you to reflect. The next time someone talks to you about progress, ask yourself: who truly benefits from this progress? And at what cost? Only then can we start to see things as they really are.
