A murder inquiry is underway after a 33-year-old man was found with stab wounds at a property on Manor Park Road in Brent.
What happened
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the address at about 18:05 on 11 February.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene but he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been confirmed; detectives are working to notify his next of kin with care and sensitivity.
The investigation so far
The Met’s Homicide Command, assisted by the North West Command Unit and local officers, is leading urgent enquiries.
Specialist forensic teams have been searching the scene for evidence while investigators review nearby CCTV and doorbell footage to build a timeline. Officers are also speaking to witnesses and anyone who may have information.
Police currently believe the attack was an isolated incident, but they say all lines of inquiry remain open as they piece together what happened.
No arrests have been made and a cordon remains in place while enquiries continue. Extra patrols are being deployed in the area to reassure residents.
