The summer of international football is here, and EA Sports FC 26 is bringing the excitement to fans worldwide with its The World’s Game Update. This update, available now, offers a range of new features and modes that celebrate the global passion for football.

From 5 June to 24 July, players can immerse themselves in the Festival of Footballa dedicated event hub filled with themed campaigns, evolutions, and exclusive rewards. The update also introduces new tokens, player items, and community-inspired changes to enhance the gaming experience.

The Festival of Football: Honoring Icons and Emerging Stars

The Festival of Football kicks off with the Path to Glory campaign, allowing players to follow their nation’s journey through the international action. Live player items upgrade alongside real-world matches, with winning players reaching a 99 OVR rating and a fifth PlayStyle+.

One of the highlights of the Festival of Football is the introduction of a 93 OVR Festival of Football ICON Pelé. Players who log in between 5 June and 24 July will receive this exclusive item along with three distinct ‘Choose Your Journey’ Evolutions. Completing all evolutions results in a 96 OVR ICON Pelé Player Item with 5-Star Skill Moves, 5-Star Weak Foot, and four PlayStyles+.

Journey of Nations: A Global Football Experience

The Journey of Nations event hub brings a new level of international football to EA Sports FC 26. Players can assemble themed squads each week, travel across five continents, and complete challenges to earn rewards inspired by iconic players and historic nations. Completing all five continental objectives unlocks an exclusive Journey of Nations Diego Maradona item.

Each continent features a completionist reward, offering Journey of Nations ICONs such as Hugo Sánchez for North America, Saeed Al-Owairan for Asia and Oceania, Jay-Jay Okocha for Africa, Carlos Alberto for South America, and Gerd Müller for Europe.

New Modes and Features

The World’s Game Update introduces several new modes and features to enhance the football experience. The PlayStyle Lab replaces the Birthday Bakery, allowing players to customize their squads with new PlayStyles and PlayStyles+. This feature is free to use and does not require any coins or FC Points.

Additionally, the update brings Evolution Resets and Repeatsallowing players to roll back and fully reset evolutions in their club. A new item type, Evo Repeatables, enables players to earn additional evolution entries. The update also introduces Tokensa new reward type that unifies mode rewards, giving players greater choice in how they play and what they earn.
