It was cloudy and dry, but very windy for Moto3s qualifying session at Silverstone, and Maverick Vinales added another pole position – his third consecutive – to his growing collection.
The Blusens Avintia rider posted the best qualifying lap in 2′16.
187 and he was able to keep Efren Vasquez at bay by 0.

Starting third on tomorrow’s grid will be Alex Masbou for Carretta Technology in his best qualifying session so far and he made it three riders equipped with Honda engines in the top three, but he was more than eight tenths from Vinales.
Standings leader Sandro Cortese will start in fourth after being hampered by Vinales and Team Estrella’s Alex Rins and Miguel Oliveira during his last flying lap.
Danny Kent grabbed the fifth spot and he accused a gap of over a second and he was followed by Luis Salom in sixth, but it could have been a fourth position if his best lap wasn’t later cancelled for cutting the final corner.
Le Mans winner Louis Rossi was seventh followed by Air Asia’s Zulfahmi Khairuddin in 8th ahead of Team Italia FMI’s Romano Fenati with Alex Rins closing out the top ten.
