Valentino Rossi's first video interview after shoulder surgery

Forty-eight hours after his surgery, Valentino Rossi’s first public interview goes to Italian prime time TV show “Striscia la Notizia” (a satirical variety show that airs nightly).
‘Capitan Ventosa’ (the weird guy in yellow) went to Rossi’s home town Tavullia to check up on the nine times World Champion with Marco Simoncelli.

With his arm in a splint, Valentino who seems up in spirits, asked how he’s feeling replied, “It hurts pretty bad, it’s pretty painful, but this is quite is normal after an operation and I find it hard to sleep, but the operation went well, now I have my arm tied up, but the shoulder should be back 100%, it’s only a matter of time“.

“The shoulder was in a worse condition than we thought, infact, the operation lasted twice as long as expected,” continued the new Ducati rider.
“All the tendons and the other things that we thought were only damaged, in reality were broken.
Now they’ve given me a new shoulder and I can not wait to try it! I decided to hold out until the end to try to race and even a couple of them went well, but I had to clench my teeth, it was really hard …”The rest of the interview talks about the upcoming Monza Rally show, where for the first time in years Rossi won’t be taking part, with Simoncelli taking his place.
