Hybrid M1 Hommage coming to Frankfurt?

Just in case we don’t see the BMW M1 Hommage hybrid at the Frankfurt motor show, we though we’d run our Hommage gallery again.
Apparently given BMW’s infatuation with SUVs, a new commitment to being green is needed.
So after withdrawing from Formula One, we might also see a hybrid concept of the M1 Hommage prototype.

In addition, after the success of and fascination with the Audi R8 and the Mercedes SLS, BMW is yet to present a car that equally captures the imagination.
The problem won’t be resolved however, if this sustainable sports concept remains just that, and never makes it to production.

The Frankfurt show might shed some light.
