As it often happens, the Moto3 class put up quite a show at the recent Italian GP too, with Spanish star Maverick Vinales taking the win over local hero Romano Fenati by just 20/1000 of a second and championship leader Sandro Cortese grabbing the third spot at 71/1000 of a second from the winner.
These results allowed Vinales to reduce the gap from Cortese in the standings to 9 points only, while Fenati moved up to the 4th place behind Luis Salom.
