Doctors decided to move the UK Prime Minister to intensive care to get better treatment. He still battling with Covid-19. After being diagnosed with the virus he stayed home for eleven days and did self-quarantine, yesterday he moved to NHS Hospital because the condition worsened. At 7 pm, Prime Minister has difficulty breathing and it’s very possible that he will need a ventilator. This Covid condition makes several world leaders show support for him.
Donald Trump revealed that he has offered to send Mr. Johnson experimental drugs to treat his conditions. Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has sent a tweet saying his thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Johnson this morning. Not only that, but Scotland First Minister Nicola Sturgeon also tweeted: ‘My thoughts are with the PM and his family – sending him every good wish.’
Business minister Nadim Zahawi tweeted that his thoughts & prayers are for Boris Johnson & Carrie Symonds and their family.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak tweeted that his thoughts tonight are with Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds. Sunak knew he’ll be getting the best care possible and will come out of this even stronger.

Get well soon Boris Johnson.’ French President Emmanuel Macron also wished Mr. Johnson well. Well wishes also came from across the political divide, with newly-appointed Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer quickly throwing his support to the Prime Minister after learning of the ‘terribly sad news and all the country’s thoughts are with the Prime Minister and his family during this incredibly difficult time’. Mr. Starmer’s predecessor Jeremy Corbyn wrote that his thoughts are with Boris Johnson and his family tonight. Then he added, “Thanks to the NHS staff for their hard work and dedication.”
David Cameron, the former Prime Minister, tweeted, “Thinking of Boris Johnson and his family tonight. Get well soon. You are in great hands and we all want you safe, well and back in 10 Downing Street.’ Former chancellor Sajid Javid said that Boris was one of the strongest people he knows. “Thinking of him, Carrie and his family tonight. Get well soon, the country needs Boris Johnson”. Shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth tweeted that tonight we’re all wishing Boris Johnson well for a swift recovery. NHS will be truly brilliant in caring for him and Ashworth send his very best wishes to the family. London Mayor Sadiq Khan wrote: ‘Praying for the Prime Minister’s swift recovery tonight. @GSTTnhs (Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS) has some of the finest medical staff in the world, and he couldn’t be in safer hands.’
