Lose £2bn sales of exports is a tragedy

Dominic Goudie, Head of International Trade at the FDF, said: “The loss of £2bn of exports to the EU is a tragedy for our industry. It is a very clear sign of the scale of losses that UK businesses face in the longer-term due to new trade restrictions with the EU.”

He added that they initiated out a plan to lessen the impacts by raising support for exporters. It was supported by the Trade and Agriculture Commission. He also thought that the Government must stop lying and help exporters. It is because they have been shut out of trading with the EU.
