Denise Scott recalled the harrowing moment of her mother’s passing, stating, “It was just horrific when she died. I probably still haven’t grieved properly.” The family’s grief deepened as they struggled to maintain holiday traditions in the absence of their beloved matriarch.

The inquest into Mrs. Crookes’ death concluded that the legionella pneumophila infection was indeed acquired from the hot tub at Tapnell Farm.
