The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games have kicked off with a bang, following the city’s successful hosting of the event in 2014. This year, the Games have been scaled back but still feature around 3,000 athletes from 74 nations competing in 10 different sports from boxing to swimming.
With Victoria in Australia withdrawing as host due to spiraling costs, Glasgow stepped in to ensure the Games could proceed. Today, Saturday, July 25 promises a packed schedule of sporting action across various venues in the city.

TNT Sports has outbid the BBC for broadcasting rights and will provide over 600 hours of live coverage. TNT Sports 2 will broadcast live every day from 8.30am to 10.30pm ensuring viewers don’t miss any of the biggest moments.
