James Toseland on SBK and MotoGP

Some years SBK riders leave the Championship for the MotoGP and some others return to SBK.
What will is the difference? Is it harder to race in the MotoGP? James Toseland explains something.
James believes winning doesn’t make a difference.

When you want to reach the top and win a SBK race or a MotoGP race, you must fight hard.

The two Championships have different riding styles.
The bikes are different and the way to overtake in MotoGP is completely different to SBK.

James said: ” It’s not easier to try and beat Valentino Rossi or the bikes in MotoGP or Troy Bayliss in Superbikes.
When I was in Superbikes we were all specialists in Superbike racing, so it was just as hard to win those races as these.
”Not so many riders have won races both at MotoGP and SBK.
Troy Bayliss, Alex Barros, Chris Vermeulen and Makoto Tamada have won both in recent years but the list is limited.
