AGV releases Limited Edition of Valentino Rossi's Chicken Helmet

AGV has released a limited edition of Valentino Rossi’s “Chickenhelmet which the Italian wore in the celebration of his 9th World Championship in the 2009 Malaysian GP.
This top of the line AGV GP Tech helmet features a cartoon chicken on the top, laying an egg with the number 9 on it and designed by Aldo Drudi represents a joke on Rossi’s age (31 this year) and is based on an old Italian saying “Gallina Vecchia fa buon brodo” which means the old chicken makes good broth, but doesn’t lay eggs, instead Rossi laid another egg with his 9th world title.

As usual Rossi’s helmets are highly original and very personal, but would you head out on the road or a race track with a chicken on your lid? After the jump more on the helmet and it’s price: Specs: * Limited edition * Super-light carbon-kevlar construction shell * Cool max interior fabric * Fully removable and washable interior padding and neckroll * Clear, flat, anti-scratch and anti-fog polycarbonate Race X visor with tear-off system * Extra quick release visor system, which doesn’t require tools * Double D ring chin strap * Integrated ventilation system with channels directly in the helmet shell * Valentino Rossi Chicken design paintwork * Limited Edition box
