Video: Motorcycle racer feigns fainting after crash

If you’ve ever seen a soccer match, you’ve see even million dollar players dive to the turf and begin holding their leg or foot and scream bloody hell or grimace in pain only to bounce back a couple minutes later fake a limp for few strides and then run full speed, just to let everyone catch a breather, but you’ve never seen a motorcycle racer do something similar, until now.

This video was captured during the Prix Moto Race in the city of Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil, and rider Marlinton dos Reis Teixeira, aka Kalunga, lowsides out on a very wet track and then as riders usually do, if they aren’t hurt, try to pick up their machines and return to track to try to finish, but after a couple of unsuccessful attempts, he has the brilliant idea of staggering back onto track and try to have the proceedings red flagged by feigning a very amateurish fainting spell.

Maybe collecting a DNF would have been much simpler, because the MotoRacing Association of Rio Grande do Sul State later banned Kalunga from the championship.
