Jorge Lorenzo criticizes Marco Simoncelli and Alex Criville

A day after the highly controversial Le Mans GP, reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo decided to post his own opinion on his Facebook page regarding the Marco Simoncelli/Dani Pedrosa incident that cost the Spaniard a broken collarbone.
The title of the piece is pretty eloquent and provoking, ” Who does not follow advice might not grow old.

”Obviously Lorenzo is referring to the already well known fact that he has been warning everyone about Simoncelli’s aggressive riding style since Estoril, going as far as making an appearance at the Safety Commission meeting at Le Mans to have the matter discussed bringing with him a posse of riders to back him up and with what went down during the race, now Lorenzo not only feels prophetic, but also righteous.

This is what he wrote: “If people think I talk too much, I accept it.
But I don’t lie and I don’t hide.
Now it’s easy to say that Simoncelli is aggressive.
It’s like when the referee whistles a penalty against non-existent foul and you complain about the referees.

I tried to warn people after the press conference in Estoril on Saturday and now I have had the confirmation that he didn’t understand, that he refused to understand and not only does he lose but we all lose too.
”Starting with Dani.
He was the first victim.
0 points and a broken collarbone.
A penalty for a rider who had everything to fight for the title this year and I hope he’ll be back for the next round because he doesn’t deserve what happened to him.
Lorenzo also had some words for Alex Criville, who does the commenting on Spanish TV channel TVE:“And since I am being critical in my fourth blog of the season, I really don’t like the views of one commentator, a former rider and 500cc world champion, who ‘tries’ to do the race commentary for TVE.
I believe that he hasn’t been very impartial lately (I guess the logo he wears on his shirt stops him from seeing what everyone else sees), his views in the last few weeks defending Simoncelli’s aggressive and reckless riding against a fellow countryman haven’t proved very lucky …”
