More on the Ouroboros, it's called Zaeta

You may remember our post on Graziano Rossi and the Ouroboros, a new dirt track prototype bike that will be debuting shortly.
Well lucky for us in this month’s August issue of Riders Italian Magazine there’s an interview with Graziano Rossi who talks about this new bike and his passion for drifting and riding sideways.

So here’s some of the low down gleaned from the article:The bike’s name is Zaeta.
Zaeta is the dialect name of a known yellow biscuit from Italy’s Veneto region.
Ouroboros is the name of the company chaired by Paolo Chiaia, official Italian importer of the Confederate.

Chiaia after seeing a Short Track race at Daytona, fell in love with the series and wanted to try his hand in building a bike and when he met Graziano Rossi during last year’s Bologna Motorshow, the project officially took off.
The bike weighs in complete with liquids at 1o1 kg.
The engine is single cylinder Yamaha, the chassis is J&M, it has 38mm Showa forks, brake from Braking, a Brembo radial pump, 40 spoke SunRims, 6 liter aluminum gas tank.

The Zaeta has a front brake because Ouroboros would also like to homologate it for road use and price it around € 13.
000.
The Zaeta will be competing in next year’s European Short Track championship with Marco Belli, who also did the official testing and you can check out the gallery of pics of Graziano and the Zaeta taken by Riders here.
