Eicma 2008: Marco Simoncelli signs autographs

Fans went crazy over the arrival of Marco Simoncelli at Eicma in Milan, as seen in this Eicma gallery.
The 250cc world champion declared he will stay in that class and will delay his passage to MotoGP.
Simoncelli turned out to be a really nice guy, advising the young crowd to take it easy riding as the road is not a track.

In the photos of Simoncelli, you can see an affectionate crowd gather, leaving the girl on Simoncelli’s bike on her own… With his shock of curly hair, Simoncelli is easily recognisable and is now considered the new Valentino Rossi.
The two champions are friends – could this be a telling sign of a new Rossi in the making?
