Jorge Lorenzo clinching his second title in the Australian GP slightly overshadowed Casey Stoner’s storming win, the sixth one in a row at his home GP of its soon-to-be-over career.
Stoner – who got the spectacular turn 3 of the circuit named after him in a small ceremony which took place the Thursday before the race – proved once again his undisputable talent dominating the whole weekend, from the first practice till the chequered flag, showing off his fantastic feeling with the Phillip Island track.
