Video: Why Marco Simoncelli got a ride-through penalty

Simoncelli-Pedrosa KO Le Mans 2011 di PlusMotoThis is the incriminating pass that got Marco Simoncelli a ride-through penalty at Le Mans.
The Gresini Honda rider was trying to take back the pass on Dani Pedrosa, but went around the outside cutting the Spaniard off who had no where to go and hit Simoncelli’s Honda and then crashed out.

Pedrosa ended up with a broken collarbone as the result of this incident, while Simoncelli talking to Italia 1 said he believes that the penalty was unfair and that it was given to him as a result of all the hoopla following Lorenzo’s constant attacks on him.

The Italian also said he doesn’t believe he did anything wrong, and that he actually gave Pedrosa some space with the Spaniard coming in a little too hot on the corner.
Looking at the video with much cooler heads, what do you guys think? Updated: Dorna is already at work … they really should learn from Infront about making free videos to be embedded available.
