Italian Minister on a BMW

If Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Puting can show up biker festival riding a Harley-Davidson trike (see video after the jump) then Italy’s Minister for Simplification (which is an oxymoron in this country) Roberto Calderoli can show up at an important economics meeting with his Northern League-Padania party at the private home of party leader Umberto Bossi, riding a BMW.

The minister is wearing the proper motorcycle safety gear from the waist up, but those bermuda jeans and tennis shoes are not.
When this photo was taken Bossi gave the finger to the journalists present and Calderoli asked if he could sic the dogs on them.
