Lorenzo Zanetti to ride for Pata Racing World Superbike team

Lorenzo Zanetti who raced in this season’s Superstock 1000 FIM Cup for BMW Motorrad Italia will be moving to World Superbikes in 2012 and ride for Pata Racing Team.
Zanetti who finished third in the Superstock standings will be riding the team’s Aprilia RSV4 and this was made possible by sponsor Pata’s CEO Remo Gobbi who wanted to invest on a young and promising Italian rider.

The Italian will be fourth rider on a Aprilia, with Max Biaggi and Eugene Laverty in the factory team and Chaz Davies with ParkinGO.
