We’ve all seen motorcycle urns and full size motorcycle tombstones and we know you can have your ashes buried at the Spanish Catalunya race track, but this has got to be the strangest, weirdest funeral wake ever seen or heard about.
The deceased in the video is David Morales Colón, a 22-year-old Puerto Rican man who was shot to death last Thursday and the family decided to have to have their loved one embalmed and put in a riding position on top of his Honda CBR600F4i with Repsol race livery instead of displaying the body in the usual casket or urn.
According to the news, the funeral directors at Marin Funeral Home where the deceased was embalmed, aren’t new to these unusual type of wakes, two years ago they embalmed another young shooting victim and displayed his body standing up for the duration of the wake.
