New Honda CB300R revealed in Brasil

Honda has launched its entry level CB300R in Brasil and we must say, it looks mightily good in these pics.
It’s an evolution of the CBF250, but it will only be sold initially in Brasil, to be rolled out across South America in a second phase.

We could, however, see a European debut in autumn, during the various motor shows taking place in that period.

The Honda CB300R has a single cylinder, 4T, 291cc motor with four valves, twin cam.
It’s capable of 26hp at 7,500 rpm and 2.

9kgm torque at 6,000 rpm.
It has PGM-FI direct electronic ignition and it weighs 143 kg.
The braking system is managed by a front 276mm disc brake, and a rear drum brake at 130mm.
They have certainly put some thought into the bike, and despite it being pegged as an entry-level model, it looks really good.
It should also have the added advantage of contained fuel consumption and emission.
If it turns up in Europe, we’re keen to see it.
