The weekend football schedule is heavily dependent on pitch conditions, and our priority is ensuring the safety of all participants. Every Friday, we conduct thorough pitch inspections to provide an up-to-date list of playable surfaces for the upcoming weekend.
However, the final decision on playability rests with the referee or event organizers on the day.
As of june 2026all grass pitches are closed until Saturday, August 8, 2026. Only the astro pitches remain open year-round, offering a reliable option for weekend matches.
The Merkland and High Park astro pitches are currently available, while the Huntershill astro pitches are temporarily closed for upgrading work. We will announce their reopening as soon as the work is completed.

Lenzie Pitch Inspections
All grass pitches in Lenzieincluding those at Bogheadare closed for the weekend. This includes the main football pitch, the multi-pitch, and the rugby pitch.
Lennoxtown/Milton of Campsie Pitch Inspections
In the Lennoxtown/Milton of Campsie area, the grass pitches at MiltonFergusonand Station Road are closed. Additionally, the High Park astro pitch for 11-a-side football is currently unavailable.
Bishopbriggs Pitch Inspections
The Bishopbriggs area has several grass pitches at Huntershill that are closed for the weekend. The astro pitches and athletic track at Huntershill are also closed for maintenance.
Bearsden Pitch Inspections
