Prof Neil Ferguson, one of Britain’s leading scientist, revealed the Indian Covid-19 variant more transmissible about 60% than the Kent variant. Prof Ferguson, who also an Imperial College London epidemiologist, explained that Delta or B1.617.2 variant could grow between 30 and 100 per cent.
