The summer holidays are here, and what better way to keep the kids active than with Holiday Fun Football? Led by local heroes from Colchester Villa these sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and inclusive for all.
Whether your child is a budding footballer or just looking to try something new, these sessions are perfect for ages 4 to 11.
Caregivers are required to stay on site throughout the activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
What to Expect
All activities take place outdoors, so it’s essential to dress appropriately for the weather. The sessions are designed to be inclusive and supportive making them ideal for families facing economic challenges or those who require additional support during the school holidays.
This includes families that qualify for benefits-based free school meals.
The Holiday Fun program is a collaborative effort, designed in partnership with African Families in the UK the Bangladeshi Women’s Association Essex and Level Best Enterprises. This ensures that the activities are not only fun but also culturally sensitive and supportive of diverse community needs.
Booking Your Spot
Booking for these popular sessions is on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s important to secure your spot early. Early bird tickets go on sale at 9am on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 with more tickets released three days before each session.
You can book your spaces by selecting a date at the bottom of this page or by calling 01206 713 700. With limited spaces available, it’s advisable to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Getting to Firstsite
Please note that there is no parking available at Firstsite. However, there are several car parks nearby, and Colchester Town Centre is well serviced by public transport. Detailed directions can be found on the Firstsite website.
Cancellation Policy
If you can no longer attend your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. You can cancel by emailing [email protected] or calling 01206 713 700. If you or your child feels unwell on the day of the event, we kindly ask that you do not attend.
If you contact us 24 hours before the event your space can be made available for another family. This ensures that as many children as possible can benefit from these exciting sessions.
