Karel Abraham in doubt for Silverstone GP

Karel Abraham’s start to his second season in MotoGP has been full of annoying injuries that has hampered the Czech rider so far.
A shoulder injury picked up at Jerez and then a strained back and neck at Estoril has limited his action, and following his highside during the Catalunya post-race test on Monday morning and another slightly more serious one during the Aragon test has resulted in a hand injury.

Apparently Abraham has suffered two broken fingers (ring and pinky finger) and this ulterior injury could keep him from taking part in next weekend’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
“We were unlucky, as in Barcelona the fall was partly my fault, but not here.

Something happened with the bike, which we are trying to understand.
The problem is that every time we fall I’m hurting, and this doesn’t allow us to work seamlessly.
Actually we were doing well, but now with a hand in this conditions and the bike being destroyed, we are forced to stop the test early.
Really bad luck.
Now on Friday, once the hand’s swelling goes down, we will perform new tests to assess my recovery time,” said the Cardion AB rider talking to the official MotoGP.
