Scooter preview: new Kymco People GTi 300

The new Piaggio Beverly Tourer 300i will have a new competitor this summer in the form of the new Kymco People GTi 300.
The new Kymco scooter will be released sometime this month and is equipped with a four-stroke, 300cc, liquid cooled engine with 28.

7 hp and 30 Nm.
It has electronic ignition and a nine-litre tank capacity.

The People GTi 300 for 2010 is available in silver, white, black and orange, with the latter showing off a sporty style.
The Kymco scooter has a tubular steel chassis with an hydraulic 37 mm fork and adjustable twin suspension at the rear.

The brakes are a twin discs both rear and front measuring 260 mm.
The Kymco People GTi 300 has front wheels of 3×16 inches and rear at 3.
5×16 both with five spoke design.
They are shod with tyres of 110/70-16 at the front and 140/70-16 at the rear.
The total weight of the scooter is 177 kg.
The instrumentation is an analogical-digital mix with odometer, fuel and temperature indicator and a digital clock.
Other features include storage space with light and 12V socket for mobile devices or MP3 players.
