New Husqvarna TC 450 and TE 310 2009 revealed

Already revealed in a preview at the Barcellona show, Husqvarna is not letting slip by the occasion of showing fans 2009’s new TC 450 and TE 310: set to be present at the Italian Motocross Grand Prix at Mantova on May 17 and 18.

In the climate of the competition the public and media will be shown the two new Husqvarna jewells, including the TC 450 developed by Andrea Bartolini, and Thomas Allier and Cristophe Martin from the world of MX3.

The revolutionary Husqvarna TE 310, on the other hand, displays new capacity halfway between a 250 and a more violent 450 four-stroke.

From the photos you can see how both the bikes are first of all beautiful, more compact and lighter, characterised by spectacular design and black wheels that recall the great red and black, and three colour off road traditions.
But looking at details, the TE 310 will develop the enduro range with a renewed chassis, lighter by one kilo compared to the 2008 model, and a different rigidity to improve ride feeling and manoeuvrability.
New brake discs include the wave formation, improving performance in extreme conditions, and are combined with plastic engine protection on both sides of the bike.

The TE 310 has a new exhaust system and the rear suspension has renewed setting to improve rider comfort.
For the look there is a new, more agressive style as reflected by new wheels and electronic instrument panel which is compact and easy to read.
This is matched to a new front The TE 310 engine has been developed from that of the TE 250 but with some changes such as gear change commands and a greater range of 83mm.
New steel exhaust valves have been included and for 2009 the use of new oil filters and pressure valves are foreseen.
The 2009 version of the TC 450 however, show greater riding safety and comfort and the new frame is one of the most important innovations.
Again it’s one kilo lighter and includes the different rigidity seen on the TE 310.
It also has new brake discs, and a titanium exhaust that creates greater engine responsiveness at low revs.
There are similar changes to performance, gear change, fork and new system of gear selection with the pressure oil circuit being modified to allow for greater performance with a cold engine.
