There have been a couple of conflicting reports regarding the conditions of Moto2 rider Ratthapark Wilairot, who was seriously injured early Monday morning, after a serious motorcycle accident, that saw the driver of the bike die at the scene.

com, who first broke the news, is reporting that Wilairot, who was riding pillion, is not in any life threatening danger, is conscious and able to comunicate at the moment only via body language, ruling out the possibility of brain damage, while another report from Bangkok Post says that the Thai rider is still unconscious.
Wilaroit had returned to Thailand to attend the funeral of his father, who died last week of cancer.
Ratthapark’s father Christmas, was one of the countries most famous motorcycle racers.
