WSBK: Reitwagen BMW to be back for Monza Round?

World Superbike Team Reitwagen BMW sat out last weekend’s fourth championship round, a delay due to economic difficulties with some of the investors in the team and some internal restructuring that forced the Austrian based team make the difficult decision to skip Assen.

Andrew Pitt, one of the team’s two riders, speaking to Motonline.

com says that his new team aims to be back for the upcoming round at Monza, that takes place on May 7-9.
“Obviously I’m disappointed that I’m a spectator here at Assen and I love this circuit.

I found out we were not racing here during the week.
I’m told there is some financial restructuring going on and that there is no point racing until the bike can be further developed, so the aim is to make a comeback at Monza.
