December is probably a slow month for gossip magazines, so they have to keep up their usual ‘standards’ and try to invent something to keep things going, and this time they’ve launched the rumor that Valentino Rossi is ready to get hitched to his girlfriend Linda Morselli next year.
The gossip was started by the weekly Chi? and spread like wildfire in Italy, with the story reporting that the couple is preparing for the upcoming nuptials that will be held in Limbiate – a town near Milan – where the the 26-year old brown haired, brown eyed model comes from.

Rossi has been dating Linda since the summer of 2012 after breaking up with his former girlfriend Marwa Klebi, however female fans of The Doctor can rest easy, as Rossi immediately shot down the rumors.
Intervening at Radio DJ, during one his favorite radio shows, Rossi joked about the rumors with his usual wit saying ” It’s all true and everything is ready for the wedding, the only problem is that they haven’t told me the date …

Rossi has slightly more problems than denying marriage rumors, especially if he wants to continue racing for Yamaha past his sell date and after giving himself the first six races of the 2014 season to sort out all his issues.

Yamaha’s Managing Director Lin Jarvis has already put his hands forward regarding an eventual renewal by the Italian rider, who only finished fourth in the 2013 championship.
“Next year he knows he has to improve his performance to be consistent with the top three guys,” said Jarvis.
“His motivation is big.
He knows it is a very important year to determine his future.
He’ll have our full support, and I think he’ll be really aggressive next year, trying to be on the podium in every moment.
