Yamaha to close factory in Spain

Less than two years ago Yamaha Gerno di Lesmo factory was downsized and it’s entire production line sent to Spain, now according to motociclismo.
es the Japanese manufacturer will be shutting down the Spanish factory in Palau, with an official announcement to come today.

Yamaha’s Palau factory is capable of producing 130,000 units a year, while in 2010 they produced only 96,000 and apparently these numbers aren’t enough to warrant keeping the 400 strong work force in activity.
