Marco Simoncelli, Jonathan Rea and Mikko Hirvonen (w/video)

Last Tuesday there was Castrol event in Cumbria with Abu Dhabi World Rally driver Mikko Hirvonen and also on hand were two professional motorcycle riders, Castrol Honda’s Superbike rider Jonathan Rea and Gresini Honda’s Marco Simoncelli.
While for Rea it was the first time on a rally car and seemed pretty impressed by Hirvonen, Simoncelli has little more experience behind the wheel of rally car (like his friend Valentino Rossi), as he’s already taken part in the Monza Rally Show and the Rally Colline di Cesena, and he also enjoy’s drifting (video of Simoncelli at the Bologna Motor Show after the jump).

Simoncelli is very exciting to watch riding a MotoGP bike (despite his position in the standings), but he’s also not that bad in a car.
