Mercedes CLS 65 AMG ?

Is Mercedes-Benz really thinking about a CLS 65 AMG ? Many would say that the CLS 63 AMG is plenty enough: the 6,3 liters V8 engine has 514 cv and pushes it from 0-100 km/h in 4.

5 seconds.
But it seems that it’s not enough, and engineers in Stuttgart are working on the CLS 65 AMG, with the 12 cylinder biturbo engine from the S65 AMG, that outputs 612 ps.

On the outside the changes are very discreet: mainly a new bumper with air intakes in front of the wheel arches.

World Car Fans also has some spyshots of the CL 63 AMG, the “base” AMG version of the next big coupè from Mercedes.
