Sunny skies and higher temperatures met the WSBK riders this Saturday morning at Brno for QP2, and with the riders much more concentrated on set-up issues andwhich tires to use for Sunday’s races than qualifying for the Superpole due to the much higher asphalt temperatures that they are expected to find tomorrow afternoon.
Carlos Checa remained the fastest rider, but unable to improve his yesterday’s lap time but no other rider was able to close in on him as the track was much slower and with a lot less grip.
Max Biaggi despite his chattering problems was able to improve his lap times, as did Alstare Suzuki’s Michel Fabrizio.
Not making the cut into this afternoon’s Superpole will be Ruben Xaus, Roberto Rolfo, Joan Lascorz, Chris Vermeulen, Alex Lowes and Victor Kispataki.
