If you find yourself in Italy in August before the MotoGP round at Misano, you might want to pop in to the MotoGweek from August 26 to 31.
It’s the only event of its kind in Europe and will take place in the area between the San Marino Republic and Riviera di Rimini.

The idea is to be the old world’s response to the Motorweek in Daytona in the US, and after last year’s success of 700,000 visitors, there’s the desire to make a new record.

There will be many events, including the inauguration of the Casa MotoGP in Riccione where interviews with riders will take place, and a hospitality area and exhibition space is planned.
The San Marino Republic will hold the MotoGP World Bilboa exhibition where older motorcycles will be shown including Agostini’s MV, Barry Sheene’s Suzuki, Casey Stoner’s Ducati and Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha.
On Wednesday August 27 the Ducati Monster Tour stop will take place, where you can check out the new Monster 696.
