We would like to introduce you to yet another special bike from spain created by Cambrilsa-based workshop C59R (near Barcelona) and based on a BMW R100RS.
The company was founded in 2011, but its reputation has quickly gone up among Cafe Racers and Street Trackers fans thanks to the 15 years experience in the field of its founder, Mr.

Josep Ramon Curto.
This is actually the first motorcycle made by the Spanish team, hence the name “The First One”.

The entire front end has been modified in order to make it a proper cafe racer, with “Clubman” handlebars, minimalist electric wiring, a Acewell instrument cluster and a round-shaped and fully chromed headlight secured with brackets to the fork legs.
The simplicity of the front section is somewhat in contrasts with the voluminous shapes of the tank, while the hand-made dark gray and red paint-job surely adds up to its greet, especially as far as the 60s-styled rear end is concerned.

Also worth mentioning are the mud-guards, the front one decorated with the same colors and the rear one fully chromed and adorned with a cool tail light supplied by Lucas.

Engine, gearbox and shaft have essentially received some light treatment for rejuvenation, just like the 2-in-2 XMR Metalworks exhaust system, but other than that it was just about finishing the engine block, which now features sandblasted cylinders and chromed heads.
Keep on reading after the jump.
As or the chassis, “The First One” gets progressive springs for the fork and a steering damper courtesy of NHK, while at the rear the original springs got replaced by a nice pair of shock-absorbers pair provided by Ikon.
The electrical system got revised too, with the ECU hidden underneath the saddle and the battery that moved down below and behind the engine, thus relieving the central section to the benefit of handling.
All in all we got to say it is a nice job: considering that the nice lads at C59R chose a quite “difficult” bike to get themseves known to the world.
known to those of other classic brands.
