Bridgestone Tires in MotoGP (w/videos)

Check out these two videos from Bridgestone, the Japanese tire manufacturer who is the sole supplier to MotoGP.
The first is more or less an explanation for newbies who watch MotoGP racing, describing the the number and type of tires available to each MotoGP rider, while the second animation video is more interesting with an insight on how the tires work under corner entry and braking.

Bridgestone is in it’s second year of it’s 3 year deal with MotoGP and their contract expires at the end of 2011, but may be looking to extend their deal for another year and would like to see another tire manufacturer enter the competition again after Michelin’s pullout at the end of 2008.

Watch the second video after the jump.
