Just how many things change in one just month? In July we reported that Colin Edwards was very high up on Xerox Ducati’s shopping list and he was already in negotiations with Ducati for a return to the World Superbike championship.
The Texas Tornado was so fed up with this year’s dismal results that he went as far as to say: “I tell you what’s really alluring to the World Superbike thing is I am just so pissed off, pretty much all the time now.
I come to a race and I see all my friends.
But the lure is basically to be happy.
I would like to be happy again and fight for a victory.
That’s what is enticing, let’s say, to look at that scenario and finish my career with a World Championship or two.

I’d love to stay with Yamaha.

Edwards is fickle or as we believe he already knew that Ducati was pulling out their factory team from the WSBK championship and is sure that Yamaha US wants to keep him in MotoGP and is willing to fund his contract with Herve Poncharal.
