Chris Vermeulen on today's Assen FP1

Chris Vermeulen talks about today’s free practice at Assen and tells us that his 8th place was done without the new engine that he used during the Catalunya GP, which blew up after crossing the finish line and could not be repaired in time for this round.

Vermeulen is one of the several riders involved in silly season and rumors have it that he may be returning to the WSBK series, and has been in talks with Aprilia.
