Admissions
Applicants may be admitted for available places at the freshmen, sophomore, and junior grade levels.

Transfer students are usually admitted at the beginning of the school year.

Requirements

To be admitted to the freshman class, one must have satisfactorily completed the eighth grade or its equivalent.

Students must take the entrance exam in January of their eighth grade year. Applicants are accepted on the basis of scores on an entrance exam, previous academic performance and previous standardised testing.

Tuition assistance program

Although the school offers no scholarships, approximately $3 million in tuition assistance is available to students, who demonstrate financial need.

Accepted students receive tuition assistance applications in their enrolment packet.

Every family is invited to apply, regardless of family income.

Campus visit program

All interested eighth grade students are welcome to visit Saint Ignatius as an "Ignatian for a Day" under the Campus Visit Program.

This can help them to make an informed decision, on where to attend high school.

Each eighth grade student will be accompanied by a current freshman, and will attend class, meet teachers and students, and have lunch in the cafeteria to experience a typical day of a Saint Ignatius student.
