Westminster High School (WHS) is a public secondary school, located in Westminster, California, and is a part of the Huntington Beach Union High School District.
The school‘s name and traditions are derived from Westminster Abbey in London, England, and the school‘s mascot, Leo the lion, is a national animal of England.
The school opened in 1959, and at present, the student body is made up of mostly Asians and Hispanics.
Westminster High School, Colorado WHS,
It is a public secondary school (grades 9-12) in Westminster, Colorado and is operated by Adams County School District 50.
More than 60% of its students are Hispanics, while less than 30% are whites, and the rest are a mixture of Asians, native and African Americans.
The new school colours are teal, black, and silver, with the wolves as their mascots.
The school uses the Career Academy educational approach, where the school is divided into small learning communities: Liberal Arts, Global Business, Health & Biomedical, Visual and Performing Arts, and Architecture, Construction & Engineering.
This provides students the chance to explore career interests inside one of the school’s five academies.
Westminster High School, Maryland
WHS in Maryland (MD) is the largest, and the oldest high school of the Carroll County Public Schools system.
The school boasts of having the only marching band from MD to ever compete in the Grand Nationals.
In 2010, the Westminster High School Owls Marching Band placed first overall, in the USSBA Marine Corps Invitational at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.

Westminster is a Judeo-Christian, independent day school for elementary and high school boys and girls.
The main campus has 18 academic, athletic, and residential buildings, including the recently opened Junior High School. It is complete with dedicated classrooms for music, art, dance, science, computer labs, writing lab, its own chapel, an outdoor pool and other athletic facilities.
Westminster provides around $3,900,000 per year in financial aid to needy students.
